These are recently acquired 8x10" photos of Conrail SD40-2 units. No date or photographer was listed for them - approximate dates were used . Although the locations were not listed, they could be easily identified.

Description:
Two Conrail SD40-2's head into the Gallitzin Tunnel with their container train in tow. CR #6361 eventually became NS #3332 while CR #6368 became NS #3338. No info was included with this large photo so the date is approximate. The location is easy to identify.

CR SD40-2 #6401
Description:
It appears that Conrail SD40-2 #6401 is getting a new paint job. From the scorch marks on the side panels, it makes me think that were was some heat damage along the way. Eventually CR #6401 became CSX 8817. No info was included with this large photo so the date is approximate.

CR SD40-2R #6974
Description:
Heading toward Altoona, PA is Conrail SD40-2R #6974. This loco has a long history. Built in February of 1966 as PRR SD40 #6058, it first slid over to the PC roster as PC #6058, then on to the Conrail roster as CR SD40 #6311, but was rebuilt as SD40-2R #6974. Eventually after the CR breakup, it became CSX SD40-2R #8875. No info was included with this large photo so the date is approximate.
