VMV Paducahbilt SD45 lease unit 8936 was on a westbound Southern Pacific train at Lafayette, Louisiana. The locomotive had been built in October 1971 as Seaboard Coast Line 2036 and was subsequently Seaboard System 2036, then SBD 8936 and retained this same number on the CSX, at VMV, on Montana Rail Link, I&M Rail Link and Iowa, Chicago & Eastern. The IC&E retired it in 2005.
