Description:
Rock Island received 20 GP40s from EMD in 1970 with the financial help of UP, which were numbered in the 4700 series in anticipation of a me|ger with the bigger road that never ocurred. They ended up going to the UP after the Rock's 1980 shutdown, 4705 becoming UP 636. It has since become MNA 4014.
