Description:
Burlington Northern Railroad GP30 2246 and a friendly employee at Clyde, Illinois on an unknown day in January 1981, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Also seen are two unmarked GP38-2's, fresh from EMD, to be delivered by the BN. Although there were no markings, the build date and color match Curtis Milburn & Eastern (CMER), so I listed the 818 as such.

Burlington Northern GP30 2226
Description:
Burlington Northern GP30 2226 leads an Arrowhead Civic Club special at Blueberry WI July 1985. This was the last train to operate east of Poplar on the former NP Ashland Line, operating to Iron River and back to Duluth. The last train to ever operate over the Ashland Line was to Poplar in August 1985. The tracks were torn out in the summer of 1986 and is now the Tri County Corridor. Robert C. Anderson Photo.
