Description:
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in August of 1961. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5874 and #5762. Both were built by GM-EMD. #5874 is an EP-20 built in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. #5762 is an EP-22 built in November of 1952, rated at 2,250 horsepower, acquired by the Penn Central and renumbered "4262," and later turned into a roadside cafe in Duanesburg (NY) as New York Central E-8 number "4097" (circa 2010)!

DMP-2. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 27 October 1962. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5874, an EP-20 built by GM-EMD in April of 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. Produced & distributed by Charly's Slides. (#8 of 20)

Description:
WIL-ALT-64. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 03 July 1964. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #5798 and #5874, Both were built by EMD. #5798 is an EP-22 built in 1952 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. #5874 is an EP-20 built in 1949 and rated at 2,000 horsepower. They are about to couple onto an 18-car passenger train heading to Altoona, Pittsburgh, and points West. (Note the duplicate "PRR" logos on the front door.)

All are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5874 was constructed in April of 1949. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded.
